EL DORADO COUNTY AND BARTON HEALTH Aging and Caregiving Series

In partnership with El Dorado County Health & Human Services Agency, Barton Health is participating in a six-week cseries on aging and caregiving. It is designed for caregivers who are or are planning to care for a family member or friend age 60 or older. October classes include:
-October 10: Know the 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s Disease: Early Detection Matters

-October 17: Aging and Depression: How to Recognize Symptoms and Access Treatment

-October 24: A Journey in Long Term Planning for Long Term

-October 31: What is Palliative Care?
Dr. Sherellen Gerhart, M.D., Barton Home Health and Hospice
-November 7: Medication Safety
Dawn Evans, RN, Patient Safety Officer, Barton Memorial Hospital
-November 14: Becoming Dementia Aware
