This holiday season... GO LOCAL & WIN! Shop locally at any South Shore business during the holiday season and enter to win weekly prizes from Tahoe Chamber with the chance to win the amazing grand prize! This South Shore inclusive event encourages community members to shop at locally owned and operated businesses during the holidays. Submit your receipts to us when you shop between November 28, 2015 through January 1, 2016, and you'll be eligible to win great prizes from local vendors and be entered to win grand prizes! Participating is easy - simply fill out our form and submit to us on a weekly basis to enter to win weekly prizes. You'll automatically be entered to win grand prizes. We'll be giving away one grand prize for total amount spent and another grand prize for total number of receipts submitted. HOW TO PARTICIPATE Shop at any South Shore business (chamber member or non-member) starting on Small Business Saturday on November 28 and through January 1. Save your receipts and then submit a form every Friday during Go Local & Win! for a chance to win weekly prizes. The individual that spent the most at local businesses that week will win a prize. The winner will be announced on social media following Monday. Every form you submit with receipts gets you one step closer to the grand prizes! December Members Meet Up Lunch
Join Tahoe Chamber and its ambassadors at the Members Meet Up Lunch, an intimate networking session exclusive to chamber members. This monthly event offers members the opportunity to introduce themselves and their businesses to a dynamic group of professionals. Each month Tahoe Chamber will choose a local restaurant to host these networking events. RSVP as soon as possible, as these events are capped at 25 people.

Join your fellow Chamber members at these two informative sessions that will present highlights of new legislation and case law updates, including new wage and hour laws, for both California and Nevada. CALIFORNIA SESSION: 9:00am - 10:30am The CA workshop is presented by Heather Satin, founder and CEO of Satin Legal, Inc., a boutique business and estate planning law firm in South Lake Tahoe. The firm assists business owners in navigating the workplace relationship, and helps businesses plan, grow, and excel. NEVADA SESSION: 10:30 - 11:30 am The NV workshop is presented by Joanna Lilly, the Accounting and HR Manager for Tahoe Chamber and LTVA. She earned her Accounting and Business degrees at UNR. Joanna supports businesses with her extensive HR, payroll and accounting expertise.
Connect for a Cause Mixer
Join us for an evening of celebration to help the South Shore community start 2015 on the right foot! All proceeds from the event raffle will be donated to Christmas Cheer All Year and Bread & Broth. Food backs are often depleted after the holidays and your contribution will help local charities refill their supply for our community. Guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to receive additional raffle tickets. This year's event will include amazing raffle prizes, as well as delicious appetizers and drinks by Riva Grill. Minimum donations: $20 for Chamber members $30 for prospective members Guests will receive 1 drink ticket and 5 raffle tickets with admission.
